Hampton Casting

Hampton Casting is the leading producer of complex investment cast turbine airfoils for the industrial gas turbine industry. Hampton Casting specializes in the investment casting of equiaxed, MX® ultra-fine grain, directionally solidified (DS), and single crystal (SC) blades, and single and multi-vane segments for industrial gas turbine applications. Hampton Casting has been in its present location in Hampton, Virginia since 1974.

Products and capabilities:

  • Blades and vanes for industrial turbine applications
  • Airmelt alloy (equiaxed) pouring capacity: up to 400 pounds
  • Vacuum alloy (equiaxed) pouring capacity: up to 1500 pounds
  • Vacuum alloy (DS/CS) pouring capacity: up to 300 pounds
  • Equiaxed, fine-grain and directioanally solidified components up to 34 inches in lenght
  • Production of single crystal components: up to 42 pounds

Structural Casting

Structural Casting is a leader in the production of large superalloy and titanium aerospace structural components for the aero-engine, airframe and rocket industries. The Structural Casting center has been located in Hampton, Virginia, since 1981.
