Occupational Skills Training may be authorized for eligible individuals who are determined to be in need of specific training to achieve successful employment. Individuals seeking funding for training must attend an orientation at one of the Peninsula Worklink One Stop Centers in Hampton or Williamsburg to determine their eligibility for intensive services. Training vouchers of up to $4,000 may be provided to individuals receiving unemployment payments or income below federal government guidelines. If such a voucher is approved participants my choose a specific training provider from the approved vendor list attached.
