The Youth Career Café offers Peninsula Youth access to jobs in demand by our area employers. We also provide a list of available Work Based Learning and Volunteer opportunities that will help build your resume.

Work Based Learning is a broad term used to describe a number of opportunities to provide students with real world experience in an occupation or industry they may be evaluating as a long-term career choice.

Volunteering in your community is another great way to start building up your work reputation and get good references. It doesn't pay money, but it pays off later because you'll have work experience to talk about in your job interviews and you will gain good references to put on your job applications! Volunteer work can be fun and it impresses employers.
