Making sure the Council's strategic priorities are carried out is the primary job of the Peninsula WorkLink One-Stop Career Centers — a vital career and human resources search resource for Peninsula area residents and businesses.

Peninsula WorkLink is an integral partner of the Council that provides employment and training services in the region. Its vast network of workforce experts makes it a truly comprehensive value for residents and businesses.

  • Peninsula Worklink Mission:
    Provide area residents and businesses with a "One-Stop" employment resource center that serves as a clearinghouse for job seekers and employers who agree to exchange information based on mutual immediate and long-term needs to provide and find dedicated human resources that create and sustain competitive advantage.

Managed by the Virginia Employment Commission, Thomas Nelson Community College and New Horizons Regional Education Center, Peninsula Worklink's One-Stop Career Centers are strategically located at high activity locations in Hampton, Newport News and Williamsburg.
